What is the comparative ownership cost of Sukoon Krishi-Raj GEN 3 in comparison to ICE based tillers/weeders?
After 2,000 charge cycles, the Sukoon Krishi-Raj's battery may need replacement, but it can still last up to 7 years. In contrast, ICE-based weeders and tillers typically last less than 5 years and have minimal scrap value.
How long can we work with Krishiraj after it is fully charged?
Depending on the load applied on Krishi-raj, the 48Ah LiPo4 battery can work 3 to 4 hours once it is fully charged.
Do you have service centers? What if my machine stops working?
Krishi-raj gen 3 has been specially designed to be easily self-repairable and serviceable. Its modular design allows any defective part to be disassembled by the farmer and sent to the company for a replacement part. The company is committed to providing full telephonic or video-call-based support to its customers whenever needed. We are also slowly building a dealer & service network.
Aren’t diesel engines more powerful? Will this work as well as a diesel engine?
While the standard ICE or Diesel engines provide a high amount of torque at higher RPMs, the BLDC Motor installed in Krishi-Raj gen 3 generates similar or higher torque (depending on the diesel tiller variant) at much lower RPMs, resulting in better efficiency and power transmission to the tiller’s wheels. This allows Krishiraj to produce equivalent power to most 10hp Diesel tillers in the market.
Do we have Govt. subsidy on this?
We have recently got the amendment in SMAM (Submission Agriculture Mechanization) post obtaining the Govt test/validation report and are now working with the state Govt authorities to get the subsidy however even without the subsidy the life cycle cost of Krishi-Raj is 1/5th of any ICE tiller.
